Mashed Potatoes with Kiwifruit

To many westerners, mashed potatoes is their daily main course. It is always cooked with cheese, butter, chicken sauce etc. However, do you know mashed potatoes can be cooked with fruits especially with orange, kiwi fruits, banana? The taste is quite different. Today I’m going to share how to cook kiwi mashed potatoes with you. Because kiwi is a kind of fruit with rich vitamins,  flavonoids and minerals. It has a lot of health benefits such as prevents Asthma, prevents wheezing and coughing, especially in children, protects our DNA from mutations, provides a healthy amount of antioxidants and vitamins, and helps prevent colon cancer thanks to a high fiber content. 

Eating kiwi fruit is absolutely a healthy choice. As usual, we will regard kiwi fruit and mashed potatoes as separate unit, but have you thought their combination will create wonderful spark? Because when you mix them together, it is hard to tell the taste of potatoes, you can only taste the kiwi fruit. It tastes sweet and with a little bit sour, just like kiwi fruit. Actually, it is good for people who want to lose weight as it with really low fat and it can make people feel full. Furthermore, it is still suit for kids because it is easy to be digested.

Suggestions: 2 potatoes can serve one person

Making Process:

1 Peel the potatoes and slice into pieces, put them into a container which can be put in the microwave and heating for 10 minutes, then cut the kiwi into half and remove the pulp.

2 When the potato slices are soft, put them into the freshness protection bag, use the rolling pole to make them become mashed potatoes, then put the mashed potatoes and kiwi fruits together in a bowl (if you like you can add some sugar), stir and mix them as a square.

3 Brush some oil in the inside of molds, use the molds to get the shapes what you want and like, then you can use the chocolate and carrot to decorate the kiwi mashed potatoes. You can use your imagine as much as possible.

Tips:

1 Brush the oil in the inside of molds can help you demoulding easily.

2 If you don’t like kiwi fruit, you can choose other fruits like banana, orange, strawberry etc.

3 You can use something else to decorate, only you can imagine, nothing is impossible.
